To Green and Beyond's mission is to bring education to girls all around the world while advocating for living eco-friendly lives by wearing up cycled jewelry.

In the past 4 years we have sponsored education for 2 young girls living in underprivileged families through Shwas by paying for their tuition and have sponsored 3 girls through Tech Trek, an AAUW camp that encourages 7th grade girls to stay interested in the STEM fields (for more information).

Education is the cause I focus on because it has the power to change lives and the futures of those that don't have the same opportunities we do. Specifically, girls in many countries have lower odds of getting an education and a job in the future to sustain their selves and so To Green and Beyond focuses on empowering these girls so that they can grow to become amazing women that have a positive influence on our communities.

Our Mission

To Green and Beyond was started after I attended Tech Trek in July of 2013. Tech Trek is a scholarship-based camp that is run by AAUW. They focus on 7th grade girls, hoping the camp will help girls solidify their interest in STEM while becoming strong, passionate women. While attending this camp, I learned a lot about what it takes to follow your interests and it helped me to feel more comfortable with who I am. I was encouraged to do something that benefited our community because I was fortunate enough to live in a place that made sure I got adequate education so that I was able to achieve my dreams. Education plays such a huge role in our lives and I wanted to do everything in my power to help others receive it. To Green and Beyond was the perfect way to raise money to help girls with their education while sustaining my passion in creating jewelry. I've had the most amazing experiences in the past four years getting to know people at fairs, meeting generous individuals, becoming friends with girls all over the world getting education, and learning so much about myself. Although I am able to give back to my community, I have learned a whole lot more from it and I am so thankful to everyone for their contributions and kind words as they support me through this.
